This spring, Paris has a new museum in honor of Yves Saint Laurent .

In 1961, Saint Laurent established his own fashion house, in partnership with Pierre Bergé. In 1985 he received the Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur from François Mitterand. And this year, a museum in the 19th arrondissement of Paris opens in his honor, housing tens of thousands of original documents and YSL modeles.

The museum includes a space exhibiting models which were created specifically for the cinema and the theater, as well as a catalog of his influences: Mondrian, Pop'Art, the Ballets Russes, the Sahara, the famous evening jacket...
